Step 1 :
What do you need?
1. Get a Google account or use your existing Google account
2. Your OWN website (any… .com, .net, .info domain)

You need to VERIFY the ownership of your website by using Google Webmaster tools:

Just login with you Google account and click on ADD SITE, then you will need to verify the ownership of your site by choosing to upload a file to your server (by FTP or CPANEL) or if you click on ‘Alternate Methods’, you can just add a simple META tag before the /HEAD of your site.
Step 2 : Account Verification
The next step is that you need to associate your YOUTUBE account with the ownership of your Website. Of course you have a Youtube Account, you got one immediately after getting a Google Account, if you are not sure please double check, just visit and login to youtube.com to confirm it.
Now that we know that you have a Youtube Account we will continue working on our Google Webmaster account, just click on:
Configuration / Then on Associates and / Then on ADD A NEW USER.
Now you need to add your Google Account Username, your email, Gmail or whatever you use to login to your Google Account and click on YOUTUBE (link Youtube channel to site).
Now you need to proof to Youtube that you will be good … in order to do that you need to verify your Youtube Account, it’s very easy, you just need to choose your country and add a phone number… (don’t want to use your OWN phone number? then do a search on Google for ‘Disposable Phone Number’ or get an Skype online number).
I used my mobile (cellular) number, you can use your landline as well to receive a voice message, they will just send you a code.

Step 3 : Partnership Agreement
Now you need to become a Youtube’s Partner, to become one just click on GET STARTED (You will see that MONETIZE banner on your account).
Now ACCEPT the agreement:
Then click on ‘Monetize’
Then click on SETTINGS / Associated Website / ADD YOUR WEBSITE and click ADD.
Step 4 : Enabling it
For this last step, click on EDIT any of your videos (please upload a video if you don’t have any).
Click on ‘Annotations’ and then you are going to click ENABLE on the banner at the top of the screen.
Now just simply create an ANNOTATION…
Scroll down a bit and click on LINK and choose Associated Website, then add your website or ANY page on your website… you can use a wordpress plugin like prettylink to REDIRECT any link from your website to an affiliate offer, from here the possibilities are unlimited!
Please only use your website (or any page on your website) on that field, adding any other website is not allowed (it won’t work).
Click on PUBLISH and then take look at your video…

If you click on that annotation it will take you to your website (in this case MY website) or to any page on your website or if you are using a redirect to any affiliate offer you want!
